Kerry blues are loyal to their owners but may not be tolerant of young children. They are aggressive toward other dogs as well, and they will chase small animals, such as cats, if not introduced to them at an early age.
Appearance
The Kerry blue's ears fold forward and its beard is thick. Its coat is soft, dense, and wavy. The color ranges from light blue-gray to deep slate; pups are born black.
